ROSS MESQUITA- MANAGING DIRECTOR - CHICAGO
Mr.
Mesquita is responsible for developing and leading
the Chicago regions SCM practice and has
over 10 years of financial and supply chain management
experience. He previously served as National Director
of Business Development and also helped launch
the Dallas office in 2002.
Ross
joined Resources SCM Practice in January 2002
to fill a newly created Manager of Corporate Development
position. In this role, Ross utilized his experience
in supply-chain e-commerce, business development,
financial analysis, strategy formulation, and
transaction execution in order to develop joint
ventures and alliances, identify and plan new
service offerings, and assist in the formulation
of Resources SCM Practice's short and long-term
strategic plans.
Prior
to joining the company, Ross had worked at Enron
Corp. since 1999, where he held various positions
in business development, deal management, and
finance. While at Enron, he played an integral
role at DealBench LLC, a wholly owned Enron company
that facilitated the completion of complex transactions
via the web. He led DealBench's Auctions/RFQ module
and was responsible for developing its marketing
strategy, guiding product development, managing
auction events, and generating new business opportunities.
During his tenure at DealBench, he and his team
negotiated and closed online auction events representing
hundreds of millions of dollars in notional volume.
Prior to joining Enron, Ross spent over four years
as a commercial banker at Bank One Texas N.A.
and also worked at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
