THE PROCUREMENT CENTRE (NOW RESOURCES CONNECTION SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT PRACTICE) PROMOTES NELSON G. SCHMIDT TO MANAGING DIRECTOR OF ITS HOUSTON OFFICE

Houston, Texas, June 4, 2003 - The Procurement Centre (now Resources SCM Practice) announced the promotion of Nelson G. Schmidt to Managing Director of its Houston office. In this new role, Mr. Schmidt will be responsible for managing existing client relationships and engagements, as well as, developing new business opportunities for The Procurement Centre (now Resources SCM Practice) in the Houston metro-area.

Nelson G. Schmidt, C.P.M.-Lifetime, Managing Director of the Houston office was one of the original founders of The Procurement Centre (now Resources SCM Practice) in 1996. Nelson has more than 20 years of diverse knowledge and experience in the Supply Chain Management profession. During his tenure at The Procurement Centre (now Resources SCM Practice), Nelson has had increasing roles of responsibility working in all aspects of the company's business lines. Nelson brings his tremendous amount of expertise in all aspects of Supply Chain Management to his new role in the company. Mr. Schmidt is adept in Program Management, Project Management, Strategic Sourcing, Outsourcing Model Delivery, and other Supply Chain Management Solutions.
