SCM Practice involved in Web Seminar with Institute of Supply Management (ISM)

Bob Engel, Director of Client Services, assisted the ISM (Institute for Supply Management) with a Web Seminar regarding Supply Chain implications for Sarbanes-Oxley. Bob participated as a subject matter expert and provided two case studies illustrating how we have assisted clients in Supply Chain and where the emphasis was in SOX section 404 (Internal Process Controls in regards to inventory).

Resources Connection presented at the 58th Southwest Purchasing Conference

The 58th Southwest Purchasing Conference was held in Oklahoma City, OK in October. The Southwest District consists of ISM (NAPM) chapters from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, and Arkansas. Resources Connection Supply Chain Management practice was represented and Bob Engel was selected to present three workshops during the conference. The workshops were (1) Role of Supply Chain Management in Revenue Enhancement, (2) Strategic Sourcing, and (3) Emerging Trends in Supply Chain Management. Resources Connection presented at the ISM (NAPM)-New York symposium

Bob Engel and Tracy Stephens attended the annual ISM (NAPM)-New York symposium that was held in November in New York City. The symposium attracted the key Supply Chain Leaders from companies in the New York area. Bob was invited to give an overview of Strategic Sourcing at the symposium.
